“Those who walked in darkness have seen a radiant light shining upon them. They once lived in the shadows of death, but now a glorious light has dawned!
Isaiah 9:2 TPT
How exciting it is when we see a great light in the night sky! People gather everywhere when they see the moon, a lighthouse, a bustling city, or fireworks. As the electromagnetic spectrum pierces through the air, something within us stirs with joy. I wonder if the Lord placed that in our DNA—an excitement when we see the light overcoming the darkness?
Even in today's world, when things seem so dark on a global scale, Jesus is ready to light up our lives. John 1:4 reminds us that His light is the life of all men, women, and children who come to Him (John 3:21). Be assured that when we turn to Him, He illuminates the deepest and darkest corners of our existence. His light has overcome the darkness, and today, the enemies of the Lord tremble at His glorious radiance!
Our dream is to see the Light of Jesus preached in every corner of the world. Matthew 28 instructs us to do just that. Asia is our focus for now, as the largest portion of the world's population resides there.
We cannot do this work without your prayer support. Please stand by in every spare moment you have to pray for the teams. Their work is more incredible each time we speak to them, and that is because the Lord moves His people from glory to glory.

THE PHILIPPINES CECILLE LAGUYO & PS PABLO BINWAG
In the Mountain Province, a slow and amazing transformation is taking place in Hungduan. Ps Pablo and Cecille work tirelessly to develop the lovely property they use for ministry.
They jointly work through the Vacation Bible School (VBS) training Kingdom workers to take the Gospel into Schools. This is growing very fast and they are training more and more to do this work. Their fellowship at their multi-purpose centre is also growing. |
| |
Cecille asks: "We are also preparing for a discipleship training school to be launched in May or June. Please pray with us for the necessary needs to be ready. We have to make the 3rd floor our Christian Education Ministry Center"
Thank you for your prayers and financial support. They do not get much but somehow God multiplies and provides every time! |

CAMBODIA PS SAMUEL & PS DJOANNA RANGUINGAN
After one Sunday worship service, 4 souls decided to follow Jesus and manifested their allegiance through water baptism. No budget to go to the nearest river and hours away from a beach so we decided to baptise them in big jars. Glory to God! |
| |
Baptism is a massive deal to Buddhist communities. This is a big deal for those who decide to follow Jesus, our living God. This is the same village Wain visited while connecting with the Ranguingans in Cambodia. Amazing to see what God is doing! |

INDIA A & L SMITH
They will be returning to the northern reaches of India soon, after a 3-month tour in South Africa for various health reasons, connecting with supporters and visiting with their children.
They share with us a prayer calendar for prayer for Tibetan Buddhists - please feel free to download it. Press on the blue link to download. |

SOUTH AFRICA PS SUNKER & PRIMISHA MOODLEY
Their family continue their amazing work in the Asian community of Laudium.
They not only share the Jesus film but they also reach drug addicts and the broken in various stages in their lives. They love connecting with the Muslim community, but building relationships to share Jesus takes a while. |
| |
They also have various supports in place to provide food for the poorer community residents. |

THE PHILIPPINES PS DANNY & PS RALYN SUMAYAO
This lovely pastoral couple is working in the valley area of Cervantes in the province of Ilocos Sur. She tells us of God's incredible help for a believer by the name of Jane who has stage four breast cancer. After a long battle to get treatment a foundation by God's grace, stepped in to help the family procure the medications they needed. |

The following is a picture of Jane and her husband being interviewed by a local radio show. |

THE PHILIPPINES PS SOMIMAR AND PS BEVERLEY CONCEJA
They write to us the following:
"It is always good to hear from you and getting in touch with you.
I thank the Lord for the grace that sustains me all through out this time serving the Lord in the ministry He has entrusted to us. It has been very challenging for the previous months for us. I have mentioned before that the spirit of Catholicism is very strong in our place of ministry. It has come to a point in which just a few people left attending our regular Sunday services due to family and peer pressure. Their respective family members were prohibiting and threathening them if they will continue attending to us. The neighbors as well were ridiculing them and arguing with them why they are changing their so called religion. Hence, they had become neutral and afraid. It breaks my heart to see our situation.
Nevertheless, in spite of the reality of challenges, the Lord is still and continously at work. Recently, a woman who professed to be a Roman Catholic by religion that is scantly attending our services stood up unexpectedly, testifying that she is so glad to be part of our fellowship. According to her she is blessed by the Lord as she keeps on hearing the Word. There is this feeling of joy as the Word touches and warms my heart she said.
I don't know what is happening but I believe this is also the case with others. The Lord is touching their hearts but without knowing it.
Please continue to pray for us. We have been asking the Lord to provide for us just at least a simple roofing for our gatherings. It has been so difficult for us especially during rainy days because we are having our services just under the tree." |

CAMBODIA TEODORAH WANDAS
Nothing really big, but I'm just so blessed to hear 1 of our Bible study students say, "Every time we learn about God, I feel at peace."
She'd never heard about God until last year, and I believe in God's own ways, He's making His presence and Himself known to her.
Words like this from people we are ministering with are our little reward and encouragement.
She attended our Bible studies for a couple of months, but sadly, she stopped coming due to her busy schedule at school. |

THE PHILIPPINES PS LUDIVICO & PS LORENA NITURADA
They write to us to tell us of the turnaround their Church has made. The ARK Church is focused on meeting people at their point of need, bringing them the love of Jesus and the truth of the Gospel of the Kingdom. In this family, for example, Psalm Ludi writes: "Our men in the church helped build a sister’s home to secure their safety and her three kids; a single mom with severe blood disease. They have been living in a tent". The lady sis holding her thumbs up in the photo with Ludi and Lorena on either side.
These are the impact stories that are always coming through to the glory of God! Imagine what God could do if more believers would answer the clarion call of God.
All glory to God for the faithful work of men and women like Ludi and Lorena. |

CAMBODIA PS PERLITO AND PS ROSE GATMEN
Perlito and Rose share with us some excellent feedback.
"With continued discipleship training programs among the school staff and teachers of our school, we are hopeful that someday they will be able to lead and grow cell groups of their own. (2 Timothy 2:2). They are being trained and taught on how to share the Gospel and lead Bible studies. In addition, leadership development in almost walks of life is continually taught and emphasized as it is necessary for future ministry endeavors and it is indispensable in bringing positive impact to their community and the nation at large. Thank God that some of them are showing lot of progress which is really incredible to witness them unveiling their potential. Some of the disciples have testified, saying, “The more I share the Gospel, the more I feel boldness and passion within my heart.”
Words like this from people we are ministering with are our little reward and encouragement.
She attended our Bible studies for a couple of months, but sadly, she stopped coming due to her busy schedule at school." |

"Organising the women’s group helps provide care for every member, especially the vulnerable ones." |
| |
"We see many young men and young women derailed in various ways due to bad influences and unscrupulous personal decisions. Thus, the church through the soccer program continues to disciple them, mentoring them and leading them in the ways of the Lord.
We are thrilled to see some of our young people thriving in their God’s – given calling. Some are having potential to lead worship, leadership, teaching, sports, evangelism and many others. We pray God will continue to use them for His glory and honour; to bring His Kingdom into the lives of many Cambodians and beyond." |
| |
"On the other community outreach, some people don’t even have chairs to sit but all enjoy sitting in a tent just to listen to the Word of God. Both young and old come together to study the Bible and fellowship together. Our volunteer church workers and leaders are going to teach, encourage, and do home visits. Everyone’s happy for the grace of God amongst the people. We are looking forward to seeing house church established in this community."
With our Indonesian Restaurant partner, we distributed food packs to the people in our village outreaches. |

"Praise God for the 14 souls who professed their faith through water baptism last November 9, 2024. Many of them are the young people from our school who have been studying the Bible. The rest are new believers who accepted the Lord Jesus as their Lord and Savior. Two of them are staff from our New Hope Trade and Training Center who came from Phnom Penh and Kampong Thom Province. We continue to nurture their newfound faith as we teach them more the Word of God." |
| |
"Bridge of Hope Academy continues to bring the opportunity of quality education to students with fun and life-building activities at our current school location. These include field trip learning of the grade 6 students to the Angkor Wat Temple accompanied by their adviser and teachers. Fund games, innovation, cooking competitions and group dynamics were also added. Following was the Second Commencement and Moving Up Celebration of Bridge of Hope Academy where 14 students graduated grade 6 respectively. In December, the School celebrated Christmas with more than 200 students attending.
On the other hand, enrichment and training programs were conducted for the teachers and staff. This aims to empower them to be more effective in their roles and functions. Last but not least, parent and teacher meetings were set up for the student’s evaluation.
We envision that through our sponsorship program, more students especially the “financially unstable” will be allowed to pursue their dreams through education. We provide students with their school tuition, school supplies, uniforms, snacks and transportation. This would help the family immensely in order for their children to get the education of their choice that will prepare them for a brighter future.
Aside from being sponsored, students are also allowed to learn values education at our Center. A series of Bible studies are conducted during classes daily. Through this, many amazing things happen in the lives of our students. Truly, “The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom.” People who know God gradually changed their lives into a better person. Thus, we are so thrilled to witness transformations taking place in the lives of our students. We are profoundly grateful for all the support and prayers. Here are some of their stories." |

SOUTH AFRICAN OFFICE OUR QUICK FEEDBACK AND THANKS
We are grateful to each of you for your ongoing support and prayers. Without you, our faith would likely be stretched to its limits. Together, we carry the burden of God's Kingdom work. We draw strength not from ourselves but from Jesus, who brings light into our lives through His great and merciful grace.
Dr Tommie writes about their church relocation in Pretoria West:
"Beloved, there are tears in our eyes. Already, 12 beautiful new Sunday School friends from poor homes, with unemployed parents and difficult circumstances, have joined us for the new year. We went to pick them up 6 km away, BUT THEY WERE WILLING TO START WALKING AT 7 AM IF THERE WAS NO TRANSPORT. After class, they devoured five sandwiches. We are starting the Children's Choir next week. There is an atmosphere of revival here. Some neighbours have spontaneously joined the congregation." All glory to God!
Bessie and Marietjie are doing incredible work managing Asia Vision’s affairs. We ask for your prayers as a new opportunity to raise funds has been suggested by a prayer partner. We believe it has merit, but it will take significant effort to get it off the ground.
Please pray for our many partners and their extensive teams. Some are moving into multiple municipalities and provinces to reach the lost.
Please also pray for more investors in the Kingdom. Many in the body of Christ around the world are not contributing to the human capital of the Church. Ultimately, the only thing we take to heaven with us is souls. Sadly, some are not even willing to pray, share a tract, or simply tell others that "Jesus loves them and died so that their sins could be washed away if they would bend the knee."
We plan to have our next online meeting on 2 April with the team, and we would love for you to join us. This way, you can witness God's goodness at work firsthand. This is no longer just a mission—it is growing into a collaboration of men, women, and children who love God, work together, pool resources, and change lives.
Please keep praying for us and the ministry's needs. We hope to see several multi-purpose buildings completed soon. Believers are already stepping out in faith, even without knowing where the funds will come from. Your prayers can change that.
Please also share this newsletter with those who may be interested.
God bless,
The Asia Vision Team! |
